A simple animated film that celebrates Volotea ‘direct flight’ culture, to go back home without transit stops in the North Pole. Unless of course, the North Pole, is home.

VOLOTEA AIRPLANE
A friendly simplification of the Volotea airplane using the iconic Vichy corner as its tale.
To respect the pure and flat graphic nature of the brand, a Volotea volumetric visual world was best represented in oblique (cavalier) projection. The brand secondary colors were used to keep this new world as consistent as possible. Following, some examples of ‘Volotea clouds’ and ‘from above’ remote destination landscapes.
The Volotea Vichy airplane always flies in 45º angle, upwards and in straight line towards its destination. To emphasise this, the shadows of the landscape elements are casted in the opposite direction, creating a subtle visual connotation of the ‘direct flight’ Volotea business model.
CHARACTER DESIGN
The squared shape of the Vichy logo was used as the atomic building block to design the characters of both the Elf and the Volotea Air Hostess.
CHARACTER MOTION
Once more based on the brand motion guidelines, all the characters movements were restricted to 45º increments.
